The IBUg is an Urban Culture Festival in Germany, a lab for international urban artists and a way of life!

From 30. August 2013 to 01. September 2013 the ironworks in Zwickau open their doors for all visitors!

IBUg your life and get together!

Founded as an unofficial graffiti meeting by German artist Tasso of the famous Ma´Claim graffiti crew in 2006, the IBUg has grown to become a well known international festival for urban arts and culture.
The IBUg is a unique symposium for the international graffiti, street art and urban mixed media art scenes. It offers a place for creating art and finding innovative ways to blend cultures, movements, materials and techniques. Every year the IBUg invites an international team of artists to take over a disused industrial location and turn it into a giant living, breathing art work. In the process, the artists help to creatively regenerate areas that have undergone significant economic and demographic change and engage in an exciting inter-cultural dialogue.

For the first time IBUg ist supported by the EU-Project SHIFT-X ‘Employing cultural heritage as promoter in the economic and social transition of old-industrial regions’. For that case there will be a discussion on 'art and culture to revitalize industrial waste lands' on 01.09.2013 in Zwickau.
